colleen grablick is a freelance writer and journalist based in brooklyn, NY.

she is a co-founder of The 51st, a D.C.-based worker-led news outlet. she spent several years covering D.C. as a general assignment reporter for DCist.com (rip) and WAMU 88.5. her journalism has appeared in The Washington Post, NPR, Street Sense Media, and The 51st (!). her fiction has appeared in Struggle Magazine, Bloodletter Magazine, and Angel Food Mag, Hobart Pulp.

she is currently getting an MFA in fiction writing from Columbia Univeristy.
