During her studies within the School of Media and Public Affairs Colleen created several projects using the Adobe Suite. Throughout her junior year, Colleen worked as a Communications Intern with Thrive DC, a D.C. homelessness nonprofit, where she managed their email, social media, and graphics. Text Video (September 2017)
Colleen has training in Adobe Premiere, which she demonstrated in this text video created for her digital media class. Colleen put together this video on the fast fashion industry and its abuses of low-wage workers, a cause that Colleen feels passionate about.
Social Media Campaign (November 2017)
Colleen created a mock social media campaign for the brand U by Kotex by using Adobe Spark. This campaign focused on raising awareness about women's menstrual health, and targeted a specific audience of young girls. Colleen feels passionately about educating girls at a young age about their growing bodies.
